The Application is a therapy and social connectivity tool for people with language disorders. The program’s unique support for sentence creation allows many people to record more grammatical and intelligible speech than they can produce without the program. For language therapy, a set of built-in workbooks helps users practice different sentence structures and record multi-sentence comments on a wide variety of topics. For use as a communication aid, it lets users share the speech they create in the program by email, messaging, Facebook, or other options in the iOS Sharing Menu. Other features include the ability to insert personal photographs, an editing tool to create new workbooks, and the ability to add foreign language text.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
No user data created on the Application is shared with Psycholinguistic Technologies, Inc. The Application creates user data in the form of (a) user-recorded sound files, (b) personal images imported by the user, (c) text entered by the user, and and (d) videos combining these sound files, images, and text. The user is able to share these videos from within the program, via the iOS Share Menu.
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
No, this Application does not collect information about the location of your mobile device.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
No, unless the user chooses to share her/his productions via the iOS Share Menu.
