SentenceShaper can be used at almost any point in the recovery process. In the beginning, it can help people to create simple, short sentences. Later on, it can be used for more
complex grammatical structures, scripts, and video narratives to post on the Internet. Why is the program so flexible? Because it is, simply, a prosthesis to help people create better speech, by providing memory support and letting letting people play back their utterances to correct and expand them. So the program can be used to implement different treatments — training on particular grammatical structures, script training, and so forth. And the addition of a text box now allows SentenceShaper to be used for reading and writing practice.
